Patience
I have discovered that when it comes to my cousin, the Cuteness, patience is necessary. In this video you'll see that I've learned to keep my cool even when the Cuteness steals my favorite toy, Dolly.

Me and Puppy
My cousin the Cuteness is so annoying. I always try to be a good dog, but she gets all up in my face!
She thinks she's so sneaky. See---right here she pretends to be stretching, but I KNOW that she's really getting ready to pounce me.
See? Told you so.
Actually I'm okay with her pouncing me because it means I get to knock her down without Uncle making me stop!

Sad, Sad Dog...
Today was my first morning with my new family. When I woke up I looked around for my real family but I couldn't find them! My uncle let me out of my crate and I ran out into the living room and sat down... waiting for my little boy Philip to come play with me. But all I saw was my Uncle's toes. Uncle Devin sat down and played with me. He threw a toy and I chased it.
Uncle made my breakfast... but he didn't give it to me! Instead he ate his own breakfast. How mean! I sat there and looked at him while he ate... waiting and waiting... When Uncle finished he finally gave me my food!
Soon I heard my annoying little cousin, the Cuteness. She ran up to her food dish (which was next to mine) and I started to tell her where to shove it! But Uncle gave me a dirty look... I had to eat my entire breakfast right next to the Cuteness and Uncle wouldn't let me alone so I could chase her off. Eventually I finished and left the room so I could get away from the puppy... I didn't go far. I sat in the living room, watching to make sure she wasn't messing with my dish. You know what she did after she finished her own breakfast? She ate the last two pieces of food out of my dish. I looked across the room at her and started in on a scolding, but when I looked up at Uncle he was staring right back at me, so I went to lay elsewhere where I wouldn't have to witness this injustice!
I followed Uncle around all morning. He would give me pats and pets and talk to me. Whenever both the Cuteness and I were near him he would give give me extra pats and scratches. When he took a shower I sat just inside the bathroom door and guarded him. The Cuteness came into the room and layed down next to me. It was sooooooooooo hard not to chase her out the door, but I knew Uncle was close so I couldn't do a thing! When Uncle put on his shoes I sat to his left, and the Cuteness sat to his right. We kept looking at each other, but Uncle was always watching! Sometimes I swear that he thinks he's the boss!
Just wait until he's at work... When it's just Aunt Lori, the Cuteness and I... I'll have my revenge!

Who's the boss?!
Here's the pecking order at my new home. It goes Uncle, me, Aunt Lori, and the Cuteness. I don't much like being second in command, but Uncle tells me I don't have a choice.
Tonight, before going to bed, I took Aunt Lori and the Cuteness out to the back yard. Everywhere I went the Cuteness followed. Aunt Lori laughed because the Cuteness was a little shadow, mimicking everything I did. How annoying.
When I was ready to go in I walked up to the door. Aunt Lori opened the door and I started to step through the door... but Aunt Lori stopped me! She then proceeded to enter the door herself before letting me inside!!! I sat down, very confused. The Cuteness sat behind me. I started to walk inside but stopped halfway in the door. This was a real dilema! If I enter second it means that Aunt Lori is the boss, but if I stayed outside I would get cold during the night!!! I sat there, half way and half-out of the door for fifteen seconds. What to do... What to do... How can I come out on top in this situation?! Finally, with the Cuteness nipping at my heels and Aunt and Uncle calling me inside, I lowered my head and entered. Who does Aunt Lori think she is? The Boss???
I'll set her straight later.
That's my couch!
I love to lay on my couch.
My mean Uncle always make me get down when he finds me on my couch. As soon as he's out of view I jump up and stretch out! Folks, let me tell you---this is the life!
Today Uncle left the room so I jumped up only to discover that my stupid Uncle left his cookie sheets all over the couch! It was cold and slippery so I got down. Soon Uncle came back in the room and found me sitting in front of the couch looking up at him. He removed the cookie sheets but kept watching me. I sat there in front of the couch, waiting for him to leave, but he never did! I finally just took a nap on the floor.
After it got dark, Uncle watched some TV and let me next to him on the couch. This was going really nice until he let the Cuteness up. I started to tell her to get down, but Uncle made me sit quiet while the Cuteness crawled all over us.
I really need to work on my Uncle's training.
